The passion I feel about photography leads me through South Dakota. My goal is to process images which I have visualized on my personal discoveries. Through my landscape and wildlife photographs viewers are able to unlock their own stories of South Dakota.
The challenge as a storyteller is to compile images producing photo essays in order to spark a forgotten moment or to create a new memory in someone’s life. Using focal points is one way I have achieved distinct images that bring out information, knowledge, and emotion.
I strive to find unusual angles, reflections, or certain lighting that will transform a common place setting into a unique artistry. Capturing these images involves patience and creativity. The most important element is producing a visual image for the enjoyment of others.
I was born and raised in Pierre, South Dakota where I currently reside. As a life long resident, I have been able to uncover exclusive scenery. Over the years I have developed a compassionate sprit for life, which I use to present my photography
